This project involved designing and building the marketing website for FEDA (Feeder Adventures), a digital platform connecting competitive anglers with fishing competition organizers across Hungary.
The goal was to create a conversion-focused landing experience that drives app downloads, attracts competition organizers to the platform, and establishes FEDA as the go-to digital infrastructure for competitive feeder fishing.
I handled the full frontend implementation, from visual design and conversion architecture to responsive development and performance optimization.
A Fishing competition app and platform
FEDA needed a single website that speaks to two very different audiences: anglers looking for competitions to enter, and organizers looking for a management tool to run them.
The platform already had traction --- 10,000+ active anglers, 500+ competitions, and 100+ partners --- but the previous web presence did not communicate this scale or convert visitors into app users effectively.
The site also had to make a complex product (competition management with live scoring, automated results, and payment processing) feel simple and accessible to non-technical organizers.
designed a modern, card-based layout that segments content by audience. Anglers see competition discovery and app download prompts. Organizers see management features and admin panel highlights. Both paths converge on clear download CTAs.
Trust signals are woven throughout --- partner logos, platform statistics, and benefit-driven feature sections replace generic product descriptions. Each feature is framed as an outcome: "Automatic score calculation" becomes time saved; "Online registration and payment" becomes fewer no-shows.
The visual design uses clean illustration-style graphics paired with app interface screenshots, making the product tangible before anyone downloads it. Prominent iOS and Android download badges appear at every decision point.
Identified the two primary audiences (anglers and organizers), mapped their distinct motivations, and designed separate content flows that share a unified visual language.
Structured the page around progressive disclosure --- hero with immediate value proposition, audience-specific benefit sections, social proof, and repeated CTAs. Every scroll depth has a reason to act.
Built with responsive-first principles, ensuring the app-download experience works seamlessly on the mobile devices where most anglers browse. Optimized load times and interaction patterns for conversion.
Deployed with analytics tracking on key conversion points. Monitored download click-through rates and adjusted CTA placement and copy based on real user behavior in the first weeks after launch.
